Mustache in the Wind
The Southern Reticulated Mustache is not a pack mustache like other breeds. It is raised by the mother for about 3-4 months in the wild before she abandons it to fend for itself. At first, its attempts to feed off of adult upper lips for sweat and gristle are clumsy, and the mustache is easily swatted away. It must either learn confidence or perish on the sidewalk, consigned to an existence spent propelled by the cold sharp breeze with no stability, hot nose breath or sandwich crumbs to keep it alive.
