Once his head hit the floor, she slammed her drink on the back of his skull like she was spiking a football after a touchdown. "Boom," she bellowed for all the party to hear, and then after everyone's attention was fully commanded, she pulled her hair behind her ear, adjusted her blouse, and modestly muttered "shaka-laka" as she collected her things and left. The last thing the poor boy ever heard until the paramedics woke him was the comedic scratch of the DJ's record, and to this day he can still hear it when he turns off the bedroom light. That sickening, hilarious scratch of needle on wax, followed by the silence of shame.
