If you’re a GROWN-UP, you’ll realize that in this kind of scattergun approach to filmmaking, just as not every joke in ‘Airplane!’ was funny (although damned near every), not every 5sf is going to hit your G-spot. I find it hit-and-miss, but I keep coming back for the hits. It’s that or just fuck off and find something else to do with the spare FIVE TO EIGHT SECONDS A DAY I’d have on my hands.

5secondfilms, we’re honestly really entertained by you anymore. You’re sort of like Morgan Freeman’s voice. At first, and I think I speak for all of us, we thought, “Wow! Get a load of this black man’s voice! It sounds old but is so new to my ears! It’s funny! I could get used to this.”
Then, we realized after far too long, “Wow, these guys aren’t just a one trick pony! And they are even funny! They’re just shouting nonsense! There is absolutely nothing I like more than these people!” You haven’t run your course. The shenanigans, the fake acting, the poor editing, the constant stream of new videos: we get it. It’s just always funny man.
